I'm sure not all houses are like this, but my advice, don't rent this one.
6. The refrigerator was small and rusty
Because everyone wants to take a trip to urgent care on vacation. We suspect black mold in the air condition vents, and for NO reason should you use the water for drinking, cooking, or coffee.
3. Horribly stocked. No Grill. Dishes, pots and pans, and utensils sparse. We had to wash everything before we used it. The plates were literally put back in the cupboard dirty.
Shame on you for even renting out 3507 OCEAN DRIVE light house east.
5. Half the stove didn't work

Our extended family spent a absolutely wonderful week at the Pirate's Perch on Emerald Isle. The house was spacious and beautiful, and was equipped with so many things that made our stay enjoyable. We had two family members in wheelchairs and although this house isn't listed as fully ADA compliant, it worked well for us. For years we have spent our summer vacation at a resort hotel at another beach but our experience here was so good that we are making this house (and Bluewater) our new family tradition. It was the best family beach vacation we've ever had - thanks Bluewater!
Do not rent from them! They are only there to benefit the owners. Office staff is completely unprofessional and rude. Lawsuit waiting to happen!
Luckily we go to Emerald Isle for the beach experience.
From the beginning to the overgrown snake ridden driveway to the cockroach infested deck. The interior left NOTHING to be desired. Filthy carpets, damp and dirty furniture, rusted and inadequate appliances, limited options for cooking, and lastly the ventilation system in this home has a serious problem. Possible black mold that in turn made some people sick, and forced to cut there vacation short. I highly discourage anyone who is looking to rent this property for their stay at Emerald Isle.
I have been dealing with staff at Emerald Isle for a few years now. They are the greatest group of people to speak with when you have questions or need help. In an emergency, they are there right away. If there is something that is their responsibility, like lawncare, no problem. I have no complaints. I would refer my own mother to them!
Irresponsible at best that this place is even available.

We ended up spending a lot more money eating out because the kitchen was so bad.
