The "Flying Catnap" was an absolutely delightful "home away from home"! The owner's attention to every detail, along with the beautiful, private beach, made our vacation one of the best we've ever had. We had a small child and we found the condo to be "child friendly" and comfortable for us all. The grounds and pool were very well kept and the proximity to all the area attractions can't be beat! The views of the ocean, dunes, and maritime forest were fabulous. We look forward to our next stay at the "Flying Catnap"!
Our rental was deplorable - the kitchen sink was not fastened to the counter top. The refrigerator's shelves were broken. The shower diverter didn't work. The dining rooms lights didn't work. The place was disgustingly filthy. We complained and the response from the company was to send in maintenance while we are trying to vacation. In the end, the did get the shower to work, but the rest was beyond simple maintenance. I don't know what we were thinking, but we called to make a reservation again this year in what appeared to be a nicer rental. Low and behold, we are black listed! lol. I guess you are not allowed to complain about their rentals. I really didn't want to go back to Emerald Isle anyway, so this was great. We are now going to Hilton Head, SC!
We stayed in Queens Court unit #3303. Initially, we noticed, doors and blinds broken. Upon further inspection, we discovered a pot of nasty water under the kitchen sink, cabinets were dirty inside, the tub would not drain. We could over look all that. The last straw was my daughter had a live bedbug crawling on her! Maintenance came and verified.

Working with Bluewater has always been uncomplicated and decidedly pleasant. I have loved staying at the Sassy Seagull! The location of this property is AMAZING. The deck is perfection and one of my favorite things to do was sip coffee on the deck in the mornings watching the ocean. I have stayed here to years in a row and can't want to do so again!
The management were very good to us following this event. They took action and moved us out of the condo immediately. They laundered all the clothes for us and cleaned all of our other belongings. Our new condo unit 1207 has a fantastic view of the ocean and is a few hundred dollars cheaper, thus resulting in a refund. The new place is clean and everything functioning. Overall, we are now content with BlueWater.
We recently stayed at "A herd of turtles" with our entire family and it was absolutely amazing. The additional parking was awesome to have with our big family. Loved having two living rooms as well. We were very surprised at how spacious this beautiful home was. The kitchen was well equipped and the home accommodated all of our needs. The best part about this home is the private pool! We will definitely be using Bluewater rentals again!
