Went there to grab a pizza and a soda and noticed the "card surcharge" of 3% sign hanging on the doors. This first of all looks cheap, second of all- with 73% of the customers we have in our 3 stores (not food)- using credit/debit cards to complete their purchases- we accept it as cost of doing business. Last, many states have laws that make it illegal to charge a "surcharge" for card use. By accepting a lesser amount for an item paid with cash, one could only think that a audit would quickly show their cash sales are probably not all reported. Michaelangelo's, take the signs down and add 3 % to your current pricing and this goes away. You not only collect the card "surcharge", but you will add 3% more to your cash sales... Your sign cost you my business tonight.
If you want a break from fast food type pizza this is your place! A thin crust with the perfect crunch. I walked in and took a slice to go and ended up eating it on the car ride home, I'd say it was pretty good, NY style.
This Michaelangelo's has great pizza! Their calzones and specialties are great. Employees should smoke farther from the building. Pickup is quick and easy.
The manicotti tasted like it was days old and the sauce was definitely from a can. Side salad was edible. NOT worth $15!
Recently, we vacationed at Emerald Isle. The evening we arrived we ordered pizza from this great place. Expecting regular pizza flavor I was stunned at the flavor of this simple pizza. I can't remember ever eating a more delicious pie! We plan to return to the Island for future vacations and will excitedly wait for our next fix of this incredible pizza!
