Great place to get away from the city, rent an RV or get a tent site, everything you need is on location. I just spent three days there.
Was running on the bike path when I had to use the rest room.Stopped in and the rude fat hillbilly redneck behind the counter said the bathroom was only for customers. That's fine.Not a customer then,will never be a customer in the future.Go to Hess!
We just spent a lovely June weekend at the beach, with our class C RV at the HTP campground. It is packed a bit tight, but I expect one goes to this location for it's proximity to the beach, rather than to sit outside their RV and enjoy the campsite; at least that was my focus, so that didn't bother me much. That said, it is immaculately maintained and the staff are very attentive and courteous. They told us they would pick up trash twice a day, but as far as I could tell it was almost continuous - the crews were attending to campsites as soon as they were vacating. I definintely recommend to anyone looking for a campsite on the beach.
