Good food with very good service. Most of their selections seem to be of the deep fried variety but it's good and priced good for the island.
Flippers has a nice atmosphere. They have a very beach theme with a connected gift shop with lots of goodies. They have a large selection of food and drinks. They food isn’t bad here and the service was good. My only complaint is that the restaurant was small and the booths are very narrow and cramped.
Over the years, my family and I have made sure to visit Flipperz any time we've been in the area since we first discovered it.
There's a nice gift shop you'll see when first entering that is reasonably priced with a lot of items to look at. They also sell fudge in some great flavors.
We love this place. Food has always been great and prices are affordable. Staff is sweet and friendly. The French toast is incredible and the veggie taters are to die for. Probably the best place for breakfast at emerald isle.
Lastly, they have a seasoning that's amazing that they use on a lot of their items and they call it George's Mix. You can purchase it, just ask a staff person. I've been using it at home for years and it tastes amazing on fried potatoes, steak, etc.
They have a wide selection of dishes, with something for everyone. Personal favorites are the steak sandwiches and wings.
I have had dinner here several times this past year. The prices are very good and the food is fresh and cooked to order. The portion sizes are very large for me in that I can take half home for lunch the next day. My favorite thing is the seafood bisque and homemade bread. I also love the surf and turf special! You can enjoy the gift shop while waiting for dinner and if you are lucky you can sit on the porch in a rocking chair. I have had to wait as long as 30 minutes in season. Give this place a try. You will love it.
They also have a great selection of cocktails, drinks, and desserts.
Staff has always been friendly and helpful anytime we've been here and go out of their way to make your visit enjoyable.
