They keep the shop dark which is nice to get out of the heat. They also stock a wide variety of interesting things for the kitchen. The coffee they sell has a woody, mellow taste. I like a darker roast but this is still a good choice.
Decent bagels. However, cream cheese is sold by the individual unit (Tbs.) and not included on the bagel. Toast your own bagel.
Latte was not very good. They wouldn't add sugar behind the counter while making it. The barista was a jerk when I asked him a question. Bagels and pastries were good. However, you have to slice your own bagel with a plastic knife and toast it yourself in a toaster.
Blenders are insanely loud if someone orders a smoothie.
Nothing special. Coffee was fine but not very many options for breakfast. Bagels appear to be the primary attraction but they we're already out of most flavors when we arrived at 8:30. I get that they want to offer fresh products daily but when you consistently run out everyday soon after opening as other reviewers have indicated, maybe you need to start planning for more daily volume. Also seemed a bit overpriced, even charging for a single, small packet of cream cheese. Bottom line, there are better coffee shop options in Emerald Isle.
Decor is a mishmash of themes, but the couches are comfortable.
It's fine if you want half a cup of whatever you order. We got two cups of hot chocolate and two cups of coffee, all of which were half filled.
